Mitchell Babcock - Davis-Babcock Funeral Home

A lifelong Lake County resident, Mitch became interested in funeral service during his high school years. After working at several funeral homes on a part–time basis, he made the decision to pursue funeral service as a career in 1982. Mitch was awarded his Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science and Diploma from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science as well as his Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science from the Edgecliff College of Xavier University in 1986.

Mitch is a member of Mentor United Methodist Church where he and his family are wholly involved in the life of the church. His wife, Laurie, is a career teacher at Munson Elementary School in the Chardon Local School district, and children Ted and Corinne are active in many school and church activities. An Eagle Scout, Mitch also enjoys working with the Boy Scouting program at the Church and serves as Charter Organization Representative.

Sandra Grimaldi - Davis-Babcock Funeral Home

Sandra Grimaldi is the office manager at Davis–Babcock Funeral Home. She has been a member of the funeral home staff since 1994 and was formerly employed at The News Herald. She attended Ursuline College where she studied art and interior design. When time allows, she takes classes at the Valley Arts Center in Chagrin Falls. She is a lifelong Geauga County resident and attends St. Mary’s Catholic Church.




Stephen M. Heil, Sr. - Davis-Babcock Funeral Home

Steve is a lifelong Northeast Ohio resident, born in Cleveland and now residing in Willoughby with his wife, Linda. Steve formerly worked for his family business, Heil Windermere Moving and Storage, and now works part-time at BJ’s Wholesale Club in Willoughby in addition to working at the funeral home. He became a re-born Christian in May 1990 and is actively involved in the membership of Life Spring Christian Church in Painesville. Steve and Linda, a registered nurse, love to swim, garden and travel occasionally. They have two sons, Steve, who is married and a graduate of DeVry University, and Matt, a member of the United States Air Force, currently stationed in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Douglas L. Lace - Davis-Babcock Funeral Home

Doug comes to the funeral home with a background focused on caring for and understanding families needs. He attended Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania and is the father of three teenage daughters. Doug lives in Concord Township.









Donald R. Bosley - Davis-Babcock Funeral Home

Don is a longtime Willoughby resident. He takes care of the general maintenance around the funeral home, and keeps the cars clean and shiny. He is married to Diane, an employee of the City of Willoughby, and their children are all grown. Don enjoys riding one his motorcycles and camping in his leisure time.
