Elizabeth J. Merriman

Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth Jane (Domke) Merriman, 71, of Eastlake, will be 10 AM Saturday, February 18, 2012 at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 35781 Stevens Boulevard, Eastlake.

Mrs. Merriman passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Heather Hill Care Communities in Munson Township. 

Born July 20, 1940 in Cleveland, she had lived in Eastlake for the past 47 years.

She was a member of St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church in Eastlake.

Mrs. Merriman was employed as a finisher at Lake Erie Design before her retirement.

Survivors are her husband of 50 years, Duane; children, Michelle Merriman and  Leonard (Dee) Merriman both of Eastlake and Dianna Bradberry of Parma, grandchildren, Jessica (Joe) Devro, Brittany (Wolfgang) Nino, Courtney, Alishia, Gavin, Joshua and Cooper; great grandsons, Evander, Braydon and Carson and sister, Dolores (Michael) Isabella of Eastlake. 

Her parents, Leonard and Dorothy (Voll) Domke, grandson, Duane "DJ" Merriman, sister, Rosemary Glasener and brother, Dennis Domke are deceased.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Friday, February 17, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.  The Rev. Kevin M. Liebhardt will officiate at the Mass.  Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to DJ's Hope 4 Hearts, in care of any PNC Bank branch.
