Adele V. (Martin) Taylor, 93, of Willoughby, passed away peacefully February 2, 2021 in Concord Twp. She was born on January 9, 1928 in Lonaconing, Maryland, to James W. and Florence (Wiland) Martin.
Adele graduated from Piedmont High School (West Virginia) in May, 1946. On June 16, 1946, she married the love of her life, Dennis C. Taylor. They moved to Cleveland Heights in 1954 and then to Willoughby in 1960, where they raised their 6 children. Mrs. Taylor worked part-time at Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby and then at the Spartan Atlantic Store in Willowick. She loved her family, amusement park rides, butterflies, sewing, collecting fabric, and shopping for a good bargain.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Darlene (Leslie) Hardwick, Karen (Donald) Moore, Barbara Richardson, Janey (Edward) Markley, Dennis R. (Kathy) Taylor, and Pamela (John) Demko; grandchildren, Tracy (Jeff) Sickles, Carie (Craig) Schultz, Matthew Hardwick, Gwenyn Moore, Donald (Michele) Moore, Rachel Bell, Edward (Shannon) Markley, Julie (Michael) Mock, Tabbitha (Barry) DeMattia, Kristy (Brian) Dague, Clinton (Kim) Smith and Jared (Krystal Kaminski) Smith; 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis, in 2004. They are together again eternally. We’re sure her parents and siblings, Merle, Zihlman, James, Lula, Hazel and Wilda Mae all welcomed her as she passed from this earth with open arms.
Funeral service 7:00 PM Friday, February 5, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Social distancing protocols will be enforced and masks are required.
Thank you to Concord Village Nursing and Rehabilitation and Hospice of the Western Reserve for taking wonderful care of our mom. We would also like to extend our deep appreciation to Janet Trem, her niece, for all her devotion to Mom.

Final resting place will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, Maryland.
