Agnes M. Wagner

Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes M. (Shoda) Wagner, 72, of Willowick, a homemaker, will be at 10 AM on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 32114 Vine Street, Willowick.

Mrs. Wagner passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 3, 1940 in Piedmont, WV, she had lived in Willowick for more than 15 years.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 53 years, Kermit “Kert” Wagner, whom she married on May 25, 1960 in Angola, IN; children, Sharon (Rick Robb) Gorshe of Willowick, Vicky (Troy Tindell) Wagner of Cleveland, Darcy Wagner of Cleveland and Kert Wagner of Mentor; grandchildren Ashly Wagner, Marko (Lauren Pfeifenroth) Gorshe and Thomas Wagner; great-grandchildren Alyssa and Izabella Wagner; siblings, Albert Shoda, Betty Siegert, Johnnie (Sue) Shoda, James (Anita) Shoda, George (Sandy) Shoda, Paul (Linda) Shoda, Charles (Pat) Shoda, Timothy (Toni) Shoda and Barbara (Duane Salsgiver) Shoda. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marko and Susie (Palco) Shoda; and her siblings, Matthew Shoda and William Shoda and sisters, Martha Kreczko and Eva Shoda. She was also preceded by her special companions Cuddles and Powder.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
