Allen R. Defranco

Memorial services for Allen R. DeFranco, 72, of Willoughby, will be at 2 PM on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 PM on Friday, prior to the memorial service.

Allen passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Hillcrest Hospital.

Born May 7, 1949 in Cleveland, he was a longtime Willoughby resident.

He was a graduate of Willoughby South High School and attended Ohio University in Athens for several years.

He was a member of Edgewater Yacht Club in Cleveland, IBD, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Allen appreciated the finer things in life from visual arts and design to performance automobiles and watercraft.

Survivors are the love of his life, Patricia Deming; children, Victoria (Wayne) Morris, Byron (Kristin) DeFranco, Robert “Nick” DeFranco and Anthony (Marisol) DeFranco; stepdaughter, Christina Gibson, D.O.; grandchildren, Herbie, Luke, Katelyn, Gabriel, and Luca; and sisters, Audrey (Greg) Gilham and Joan Fryt. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Martha J. DeFranco.
