Allen R. Paden

Memorial services for Allen R. Paden, 90, of Willoughby, will be at 10 AM Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday, October 4, 2024 at the funeral home.

Allen passed away peacefully September 25, 2024 in Mentor. He was born August 19, 1934 in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania.

Allen worked for Dean Dairy and Euclid Race, retiring in1980. He was an auxiliary policeman in the City of Willowick for 24 years. He was also the beloved “Captain Crosswalk” at Otterbein College for many years. He was co-owner of All Points Printing in Willoughby for 15 years.

Survivors include his children, Catherine (Alan) Weber, Robert (Julie) Paden, Richard (Debi) Paden, and Gregory Paden; grandchildren, Jennifer (Stephen) Norris, Bradley (Paulina) Weber, Andrew (Lorelei) Paden, Lindsey (Steven) Robbins, Kayla (Richard) Rosian, Eric (Brittany) Paden, Nicole (Hillary) Dethlefs, Becky (Scott) Stewart; 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Louise M. (Kellat) Paden in 2019. His parents, Harold P. and Bertha C. (Fry) Paden and brothers, John, Richard, and Roger Paden and daughter-in-law, Heidi Paden are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.
