Amy D. Rua

Services for Amy D. (Williams) Rua, 87, of Kirtland, will be at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Rua passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Mentor.

Born February 11, 1926 in Kirtland, she was a lifelong Kirtland resident.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ - Kirtland Restoration Branch.

Mrs. Rua was employed in the housekeeping department at Western Reserve Convalescent Home in Kirtland for 25 years.

Survivors are her daughter, Cynthia A. Rua and son, Kenneth J. (Susan Stumpf) Rua, both of Mentor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, DeForest E. and Viola Emily (McFarland) Williams; sisters, Barbara Schupska and Bell Klima and brothers, Kenneth Williams and Charles “Ted” Williams.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tues., July 2, (today) and from 12 noon until 1 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in North Kirtland Cemetery.
