Anna F. Bush

Services for Anna Frances (Cook) Bush, 85, of Mentor, will be at 7 PM on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 3-7 PM on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bush passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Cleveland.

Born February 8, 1939 in Alum Creek, WV, she has lived in Mentor for the past 47 years.

She was a member of Mentor Community Church of God where she served as assistant chair of the church council, and the New York Central Railroad Historical Society. She also enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, ceramics, arts and crafts, sewing and family gatherings.

Mrs. Bush was employed as a paralegal at a law office, and retired as a secretary from Fairport Harbor High School.

Survivors are her sons, Dale (Djuana) Bush and David (Melissa) Bush; step-daughter, Sherri Kelly; grandchildren, Savannah (Josh) Varcelli, Joshua Bush, Ashley Bush and Blake Bush; step-grandson, Jeremy (Samantha) Kelly; great-grandchildren, Leonardo and Lucille Varcelli; siblings, Janet Keith and James (Beth) Cook. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Linda Bush and many nieces, nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Alan Karl Bush on May 20, 2014 and her son, Steven Bush on January 16, 2016. Her parents, Bruce and Gladys (Gatewood) Cook, brother, Joseph Cook and brother-in-law, Carl Keith are also deceased.

Committal services and interment will be at 10 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Crown Hill Cemetery Chapel, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087. Please meet directly at the cemetery no later than 9:45 A.M.
