Mass of Christian Burial for Arlene Rose (Drenik) Sohl, 69, of Mentor, will be 9:30 AM Tues., May 15, 2012 at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the Church. The Rev. Fr. Thomas W. Johns will officiate at the Mass. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Mon., May 14, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave. Willoughby. Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township. Mrs. Sohl passed away Tues., May 8, 2012 at Kobacker House in Columbus. Born March 12, 1943 in Cleveland, she has lived in Lake County since 1972. She was a member of Saint John Vianney Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends and family. Mrs. Sohl was employed at Mentor High School. Survivors are her daughter, Cheri (Joseph) Pecek of Dublin; granddaughters, Faith, Willow and Jade and sister, Sharon (Michael) Providenti of Eastlake. She also leaves her niece, Holly Hirsel and nephews, Edward Hirsel and Anthony Drenik and their families. Her husband, Wayne, passed away in 1990. Her parents, Anthony and Rose (Yankovic) Drenik are also deceased. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Kobacker Hospice House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, OH 43214.
