Barbara Meckley

Services for Barbara A. (Grusendorf) Meckley, 73, of Willoughby, will be at 10 AM Thurs., July 26, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Mrs. Meckley passed away Sun., July 22, 2012 at University Hospitals Case Medical Center Seidman Cancer Hospital in Cleveland. Born Oct. 10, 1938 in Angelica, NY, she has lived in Willoughby since 1963. Mrs. Meckley was employed as an inspector at Frantz Medical Supply in Mentor. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Meckley of Willoughby, Gail Brown of Painesville and Michelle Cetkovic; grandchildren, Susan (Bobby) Pierce, Heather (Jordan) Payner, Alan and Dilan Cetkovic; great granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Pierce; siblings, Betty Hald of Lyndonville, NY; Margaret Saunderson and William (Mary Beth) Grusendorf, both of Ransomville, NY; Robert (Elizabeth) Grusendorf of Concord Twp. and Janet Baker. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families. Her husband, Jackie L. Meckley passed away in 1980. Her parents, James and Violet Grusendorf and sister, Donna Lort are also deceased. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Weds., July 25, 2012 at the funeral home. Pastor Walt Schieman of Willoughby Hills Friends Church will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
