Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara (Eiserman) Phillips, 89, of Eastlake, will be at 12 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 35781 Stevens Boulevard., Eastlake. Please meet at the church.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Barbara passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born April 23, 1936 in Cleveland.
Barbara was a school teacher and a tax consultant for fun. Her hobbies included gardening, golfing, and sewing. Her husband, Dr. James Phillips and she owned Brandt’s Candies in Willoughby for many years.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Dr. James L. Phillips; children, Mary Mularo, Margaret Phillips, Josette Amara, Joseph (Kelly) Mularo, Barbara (Tom) Tabernik, Frank (Sally) Mularo, James L. Phillips, Jr., Jeffrey Phillips, and Steven Phillips; grandchildren, Jenny (Brian) Stanek, Christopher Phillips, Tracy (Ben) Ammon, Daniel (Erin) Goldstein, Courtney (David) Teasley, Kelly Arbelo, Andrew Mularo, Evan Mularo, Domenic Mularo, and Sky Mularo and 14 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter L. and Margaret M. (Offenloch) Eiserman; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret M. (John) Huron; son-in-law, Domenic Amara; and daughter-in-law, Susan Sandler.
Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
