Barbara Smith

Services for Barbara (nee: Papp) (Thomas) Smith, 64, of Painesville Twp., will be at 6:30 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at her home. Born September 6, 1947 in Fairborn, OH she was a lifelong Lake County area resident. She was a member of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church in Concord Twp., and was an avid reader. She was a graduate of Fairport Harding High School, class of 1965 and Lake Erie College, class of 1975. Mrs. Smith was a caregiver for MRDD clients in Lake County. She has also worked as a nurse's aide for several local nursing and assisted living centers.
