Barbara J. Totedo

Private family services will be held for Barbara J. (Tewell) Totedo, 87, of Willoughby.

Mrs. Totedo passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Mentor Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mentor.

Born November 3, 1930 in Davis, WV, she has lived in Willoughby for 50 years.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Willoughby and especially enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren affectionately knew her as “Momo”, as did all of their friends.

Survivors are her sons, Perry (Sue), Dean (Marcia), Robert (Joy) and Richard (Susan); grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Alannah, Nick (fiancée, Kelly), Laura (Kyle) Say, Sarah, Emily, Gina, and Katherine and sisters, Norma Kilby, Suzanne Warbritton and Charlotte Moore. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Patrick, on December 4, 2010 and her granddaughter, Stephanie, on July 30, 2004. As one of 16 children born to the late Moses and Nettie (Burley) Tewell, she was also preceded in death by nine sisters and three brothers.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Mentor Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center and Bella Care Hospice for their care and support.

Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
