Beverley M. Findlay

Services for Beverley Martin (Nee: Crane) Findlay, 91, of Mentor, will be at 5 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Findlay passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Born November 1, 1932 in Cleveland, she had lived in Kirtland for 20 years, Concord Township for two years and has lived in Mentor for the past 38 years.

She was an avid doll and antique collector, enjoyed gardening and has also traveled extensively with her family.

Mrs. Findlay was employed as a school bus driver for Kirtland Public Schools and later worked as an income tax preparer at H & R Block tax service.

Survivors are her loving daughters, Robin (Michael) Elliott, Carole (Don) Cole, Carleen (Steve) Andow, Tamera (David) Wilcox and Melody McFarland; step-children, Darrell Findlay and Dianna (Nick) Miller; grandchildren, Wendy (Chris) Carlson, Jason (Angela) Elliott, Cynthia Clarke, Linda Clarke, Dan (Kathey) Andow, Bryan (Christina) Andow, Jami (Justin) Thomas, Carl (Cyndi) Elliott, Kelly (Kevin) Elliott, Daphne Bee, David (Amanda) Wilcox, Jr. and Cody (Veronica) McFarland; great-grandchildren, George (Victoria) Carlson, Jordan (Amy) Carlson, Alynsia Elliott, Nicole Kline, Kristena (Jason) McAndrews, Derrick Byer, Devin Adams, Caleigh Cantrell, Branden Cromwell, Jaycee Elliott, Isabella, Juliana, Blake and Collin Andow, Jayden, Juliette, Jaxson Thomas, Georgia and Bailey Wilcox, Xander, Olivia, Eliza, Magnolia Elliott, Ayden, Kylee, Michael Elliott, Chase, Carly and Jameson Bee, and their families; brother, Ronald Crane and sister, Cherylyn (Dennis) Lee. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Carol Ann (Fred) Bliss several nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Findlay on September 17, 2008 and her son, Dennis Findlay on May 27, 2021. Her parents, R. Gordon and Frances (Moody) Crane are also deceased.

Private family burial will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village.
