Beverly Jean Collins, 71

Born April 16, 1954, Died May 8, 2025

Graduated Mentor High School 1972

Lived in Dallas, TX, Sarasota, FL, and Mentor, OH

She was a restaurant server and bartender. She also worked at Quail Hollow Country Club and Cometic Gaskets in Concord Township, OH.

She loved Lake Erie and Siesta Key, FL and spent much of her free time at the beach. She also loved music and was a Top 25 alumnus. She was a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, especially the Browns and Indians – and all that that entails . . . She loved to travel with her friends, of which she had many.

She is described by most as “so much fun”. She loved life and maintained a positive attitude and her beautiful smile all her life, including through her 4½ year battle with cancer.

Bev is survived by her sister, Barbara (Christopher) Dunn and many wonderful, lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bil Collins; mother, Alberta (Albright) Collins; father, William Collins; and nephew, Dean Galanis.

There will be a “Celebration of Life” at a later date.
