Bobbie Jean (Grabeel) Quick

Bobbie Jean (Grabeel) Quick, 91, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, in Mentor, Ohio. Born February 5, 1935, in Virginia, Bobbie embraced her Southern roots and carried the values of faith, family, and love throughout her life. She was spirited and strong-willed, qualities that carried her through many seasons of life, especially as she cared for her husband.

Bobbie was the beloved wife of the late Phillip Quick. Together, they shared 68 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with devotion to one another and their family. Their journey together included raising their children, playing endless hours of cards, and traveling to many places, creating cherished memories.

A dedicated hairdresser for many years, Bobbie brought warmth and kindness to her work and formed lasting friendships within her community. Beyond her career, she was deeply involved in her church. Bobbie’s faith was a cornerstone and guiding presence in her life.

Bobbie had a passion for gardening and was an active member of her local garden club. She also loved watching sports—whether cheering from the sidelines or enjoying games on television—and treasured time spent with family during these moments. Bobbie was a proud participant in the Meals on Wheels program and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed anything crafty, as well as cooking and baking.

Above all else, Bobbie’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children, Phillip Gregory (Jeannie) Quick, Cindy (Gary) Johnson, Stephen (Cindy) Quick, and Perry (Kirsten) Quick; her brother, Cecil (Kitty) Langley; her sister, Annabelle Voss; as well as her cherished 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Quick; and her parents, Ann (Beaty) Langley and Bryan Grabeel. Her legacy as a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother will live on through each of them.

Her final resting place is in Mentor Cemetery. A private service with immediate family has been held.
