Brittany Lynn Bolaney

Services for Brittany Lynn Bolaney, 26, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. James D. Roach of St. John Vianney Catholic Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the funeral home.

Brittany passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 after a lengthy illness.
Born August 2, 1990 in Painesville, she was a lifelong Mentor resident.

She was a graduate of Mentor High School, class of 2008 and a graduate of Ursuline College, class of 2012 and recently completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing. She was an artist who created beautiful cards and loved animals. Brittany loved life to its fullest, and touched everyone she met in a special way; she was full of hopes and dreams and was always looking to the future.

Brittany was employed as a Registered Nurse at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center in Richmond Heights.

Survivors are her parents, John and Patricia (Wawrowski) Bolaney; brothers, Jonathan (Kelly) Bolaney and Nicholas Bolaney; sister, Kaitlyn Bolaney; nephew, Gabriel; grandparents, Shirley (Wawrowski) Myers, Raymond Wawrowski, June Kwiatkowski and Patricia Tiner. She also leaves her fiancé, Brandon Wood and his parents, Terry and Paulette Wood and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and her four-legged companion, Brandie.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Don Myers and Abel Joseph “A.J.” Bolaney.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Tuesday.
