Buster G. Mcclendon

Funeral service for Buster G. McClendon, 86 of Mentor will be 10 AM Friday, October 14, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Family will receive friends 5-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. McClendon passed away October 6, 2016 at Altercare of Mentor in Concord Twp.

Born November 18, 1929 in Cullman, Alabama, he lived in Cleveland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey for many years, before returning to Mentor in 2013.

Survivors include his children, Michael McClendon, Gary (Sue) McClendon, David (Kim) McClendon, Sharon (David, Jr.) Henning, Keith McClendon, and Kevin (Donna) McClendon; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Will (Pat) McClendon. He also leaves his former wife Delores Boling and many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor McClendon in 2006; parents, Enoch McClendon and Molly (Teichmiller) Dalton; brothers Tilford, Earl, Larry, Ray, and Gene McClendon; sister, Clara (McClendon) Britton.

Final resting place will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.
