Carl L. Cummins, Jr. Jr.

Services for Carl L. Cummins, Jr., 67, will be at 6 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Mentor East Heisley Church of God, 5544 East Heisley Road, Mentor. Pastor Hank D. Williams will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-6 PM on Thursday, prior to the service at the Church.

Mr. Cummins passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He was born December 28, 1957 in Cleveland.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing. He also loved racing at Painesville Speedway.

Carl was a machinist and set-up man, most recently working at the former Glenridge Machine Company in Willoughby, retiring as the night shift foreman.

Survivors are his wife of 48 years, Rose (McCauley) Cummins; sons, Carl L. (Kelly) Cummins, III and Jeromey W. (Nicole) Cummins; grandchildren, Hunter, Harper, Hannah Rose, Nicholas and Joseph Cummins; father, Carl L. Cummins, Sr. and brother, Randy (Shelly) Cummins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Miller) Cummins.
