Carol A. Lewis

Carol Ann Lewis, 80, of Mentor, Ohio, died Saturday morning,November 23, 2024, at her home.

Born September 21, 1944, in Oil City, PA, she was the daughter of Harry and Elsie Smith.

Mrs. Lewis married Carl Lewis on November 18, 1967, until Carl preceded her in death in 2019.

She is survived by her children, Rob Lewis of Painesville, OH and Carla Goffstein of Parkland, Fl. She is also survived by three grandchildren and her sister, Janet Weiss of Newbury, OH, and two nephews.

Carol loved her children and the children of Bellflower Elementary, where she worked in education until her retirement in 2003.

She enjoyed the company of her dogs and doing word searches. She also cultivated tomatoes and still had one ripening in a planter in November. She was also a member of Mentor United Methodist Church.
