Carole L. Paonska

Services for Carole L. (Dahlin) Paonska, 85, of Willowick, will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Paonska passed away Friday, February 3, 2017.

Born May 5, 1931 in Cleveland, she was a longtime Eastlake resident.

She was a member of the Monitor-Noble Swedish Lodge 130 in Cleveland, and was a volunteer with the Eastlake Athletic Association from 1980-1991.

Mrs. Paonska worked in the nursery at the former Riverview Racquet Club in Eastlake for several years.

Survivors are her children, R. Carl Paonska, Joseph Paonska, Raymond (Jodie) Paonska and Kathleen (Michael) Grove; grandchildren, Linnea (Ian) and Michael (Ashley) and Gabriella; great-grandchildren, Kyrnan, Rowan, Tyler and Trenton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, on September 15, 1993. Her parents, Carl and Linnea (Nordstrom) Dahlin and step-mother, Greta Dahlin are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the services on Wednesday.
