Charles “Chuck” Bramley, Sr., a long-time Kirtland resident, was born on December 6, 1928, died December 11, 2021, at the age of 93.
Chuck was a United States Navy Veteran, and worked hard throughout his life to care for his family. He enjoyed gardening, bird-watching, and helping all animals, especially the “four-foots”.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Marcia; daughters, Shirley Bramley and Caroline (Forbes); daughter-in-law, Debbie Bramley; parents, Isabell and Alartis Bramley; siblings, Maxine Feldman, June Marcy, Joanne Hinkle, Leah Anderson (Earl); James, Frank, Howard, and Terry Bramley.
Survivors include his son, Chuck Bramley, Jr.; daughters, Debbie (Tony) Skolny and Beverly; his beloved dog, Zoe; grandchildren: Chuck (Vickie) Bramley, III, Ronnie (Racheal) Mercer, Brian (Yayoi) Forbes, Rodger Bramley and Chad (Stephanie) Weincek; great grandchildren, Erin and Rachel Bramley; Allyson, Emma, Sophia, and Ronnie Mercer; Lena, Franklyn and Maria Weincek and siblings, Patty Beloat and John (Ike) Bramley.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Graveside services and Interment will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. We will meet in the front circle of the cemetery entrance at 9:45 AM and proceed into the cemetery at 10 AM.
If desired, friends may make memorial contributions in the form of food or supplies to the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, 9500 Sweet Valley Drive, Valley View, Ohio.
