Charles D. Carter

Charles D. Carter Jr., 54, of Mentor.

Mr. Carter passed away March 18, 2017 in Willoughby.

He was born August 23, 1962 in Cleveland.

Mr. Carter was a cook at many local restaurants. He enjoyed fishing and playing video games.

Survivors include his mother, Flora Sutphin; father, Charles D. Carter, Sr.; children, Vanessa (Nate) Pastor and Christopher Dombek; grandson, Logan and sister, Catherine (Jay) Parr; and niece, Christina Bergmann; he also leaves his grand-niece and nephew, Zooey and Zachary and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Carter and his brother, Daniel Carter; step-father, John Sutphin and his grandparents.

Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Private family interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
