Charles M. Layman

November 30, 1960 — January 17, 2013

A gathering to celebrate the life of Charles M. Layman, 52, of Eastlake, will be held from 12-3:30 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. There will be a service of remembrance at 3:30 PM.

Charles passed away January 17, 2013 at his home.

Born November 30, 1960 in Euclid, he was a longtime Lake County resident.

He was a member of the Lake Erie Darter’s Association and enjoyed sport fishing. He was currently growing out his hair to be able to donate it to Locks of Love, in memory of his sister.

Charles was employed at Arbor Industries in Mentor and was also a self-employed painter and handyman.

Survivors are his daughter, Charice Layman of Euclid; mother, Elizabeth (Nichols) Layman of Eastlake; brother-in-law, James Feth; uncles, James Layman and William (Jackie) Layman; aunts, Vee Nichols and June Layman; niece, Aubrey Feth and nephews, Tyler and Jason Feth.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Layman and his sister, Victoria Feth.

The family encourages contributions to Locks of Love, 234 Southern Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33405-2701.
