Christina (Anderson) Scott

Services for Christina Scott will be at 10 AM on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Pastor Phillip J. Hilditch of Victory Baptist Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Christina Scott, a longtime Mentor-on-the-Lake resident, entered her eternal life January 2, 2017 at Hospice House in Cleveland.

She was born on October 22, 1928 in Copperhill, TN on the way to the family home in Hazel Creek, NC. The family then moved to Bolair, WV before she married and moved to Ohio.

Christina was a member of the Victory Baptist Church and loved to spend time with her grandson.

She spent most of her career at Fluid Controls and then at Franz Medical in Mentor before her retirement in 1995.

Survivors are her daughter, Robin (Anderson) (William, III) Brower; and her grandson, William M. Brower, IV; her step-son, David Scott and nephew, James (Karen) Hitchcox. She also leaves her lifelong friend, Virgil Bixel.

She was the beloved wife of Paul Anderson, staying by his side until his death, and with incredible compassion she married Edward Scott, also caring for him during his illness until his death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, six of her eight siblings and her best friend, Doris Bixel.
