Memorial services for Clarence L. Saylor, 87, of Eastlake, will be at 2:30 PM on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 PM on Saturday, prior to the service.
Mr. Saylor passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013.
Born November 22, 1925 in Johnson City, TN, he has lived in Eastlake for more than 50 years.
He was a World War II United States Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3863 in Eastlake.
Mr. Saylor retired from the former Cleveland Crane and Engineering Company in Wickliffe.
He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Margaret (Loveless); son, Darrell (Stella) Saylor of Concord Twp. and daughter, Linda (Christopher) Jarmush of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Stephen, Eric and Matthew Saylor; Monica Saylor (Greg Sislak) and Courtney and Ethan Jarmush. He also leaves his siblings, Ruby (Pat) Tapp, E.D. Saylor, Dick (Jean) Saylor and Wayne (Geneva) Saylor and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Toy Lee and Estella (Hodges) Saylor; his sister Ellen and brother-in-law, Glen Onks; his brother, Hartzell Saylor and his sister-in-law, Iva Saylor.
