Clarice Hixenbaugh

Services for Clarice (Blything) Hixenbaugh, 65, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be at 8 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Deacon Carl Toomey of Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home..

Born September 14, 1952 in Cleveland, Clarice passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her home.

She was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed traveling to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. She also enjoyed baking hundreds of dozens of holiday cookies for friends and family.

Survivors are her husband of 13 years, Jack Hixenbaugh; children, Becky, Kristen and Lance (Rujita) Blything; mother, Stephanie (Koncilja) Segulin; sisters, Tina Collins and Stephanie Dagg and brother, Wayne Segulin. She also leaves her mother-in-law, Rose Hixenbaugh and many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce Blything in 2003. Her father, Clarence Segulin and brother, Michael Segulin are also deceased.
