Clarice Jeanne Schupp

Services for Clarice Jeanne (Rawlinson) Schupp, 98, of Kirtland, will be at 10 AM on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Grace Episcopal Church, 36200 Ridge Road, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Schupp passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2026, holding her granddaughter Martha’s hand.

Born February 20, 1928 in Cleveland, she was resident of Kirtland for 72 years.

She was a lifelong member of Grace Episcopal Church, where she served on the Altar Guild, as the Church treasurer, taught Sunday school and was a member of the Episcopal Church Women.

Mrs. Schupp was a graduate of Andrews School for Girls in Willoughby, class of 1946. She worked as an executive secretary at the former Cleveland Hobbing Company and was a partner with her family on the operation of the family farm, Schupp Orchards in Kirtland.

She enjoyed long afternoons sitting at her open window, reading the newspaper and watching the birds. She was also a devoted dog and horse lover.

Survivors are her children, James (Melanie) Schupp and Jane Schupp and granddaughter, Martha Jeanne Schupp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Schupp in 2013. Her parents, James E. and Ivy Martha Rawlinson; sister, Doris Schupp; sister-in-law, Frances Schupp and brother-in-law, Joseph L. Schupp are also deceased.

Private family interment will be in North Kirtland Cemetery.
