Cora Sue Darrah (Crotty)

Mass of Christian Burial for Cora Sue (Crotty) Darrah, 72, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Darrah passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Born June 17, 1953 in Bluefield, WV, she lived in Willoughby before moving to Mentor in 1993.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Willoughby and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, pottery, gardening and spoiling her grandchildren and her dog, Baxter. She was a graduate of Collinwood High School, class of 1971 and attended West Virginia Tech.

Mrs. Darrah was employed as a buyer of medical equipment at Phillips Medical Equipment for many years until her retirement in 2021.

Survivors are her daughter, Brittany (Doug, Jr.) Reid; grandchildren, Dougie, Cora, Oscar and Brandon Reid and her brother, Dale Crotty. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Dennis Paul, on December 4, 2019. Her parents, Oscar and Madeliene (Mc Clung) Crotty are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the Mass on Friday.
