Memorial services for Cynthia Szampias AKA Elizabeth Sampras, 54, of Mentor, will be at 7 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Tuesday, prior to services at the funeral home.
Cynthia passed away unexpectedly June 4, 2024. She was born November 5, 1969 in Dover, Delaware.
She was a dedicated registered nurse in the critical care unit at Euclid Hospital and many other local hospitals including the VA Hospital. She received her degree from Case Western Reserve University and graduated from Mentor High School. She loved crocheting beautiful blankets.
Survivors include her parents, Stephen and Jane (Aquila) Szampias and her sister, Christine (Don) Fellows; niece, Ashley (Favian); nephews, Aiden, Alex, and Anthony; great- niece and nephew, Adrianna and Axel.
She was preceded in death by her son, Johnathan.
Graveside services will be at 11AM Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Mentor Cemetery, 6881 Hopkins Rd., (Section 30).
