Daniel B. Hornbeck

Services for Daniel B. “Dan” Hornbeck, 56, of Spring Hill, TN, will be at 11 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Road, Mentor. Pastor Timothy J. Potter will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM on Saturday at the Church.

Born May 7, 1957 in Lafayette, IN, Mr. Hornbeck went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2013 at his home.

He was a graduate of Purdue University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree. He was a faithful member and deacon of Community Baptist Church in Spring Hill, TN.

Mr. Hornbeck was employed as a sales manager by Rockwell Automation for 33 years.

Survivors are his wife, Lu Ann (Hession) Hornbeck; sons, Eric D. (Katy) Hornbeck and Matthew C. (Rachael) Hornbeck; daughter, Carmen (Caleb) Coston; grandchildren, Cole, Gioia, Judah and Micah Coston and Lyla and Daniel Hornbeck; parents, Willard “Bill” and Mary Ruth Hornbeck; brothers, Gary Hornbeck, Randy Hornbeck, Timothy (Lisa) Hornbeck and Tom Hornbeck and sister, Cindy (Lary) Stieglitz. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Anna May Hatke and father-in-law, George (Rose) Hession.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Road, Mentor, OH 44060 or Sarah Cannon Research Institute, 3322 West End Ave., Nashville, TN 37203.
