Dannielle Henry

Memorial services for Dannielle (Ownby) Henry, 84, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be at 7:30p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022 prior to the service.

Mrs. Henry passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at Promedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Willoughby.

She was born on December 29, 1937 in Sevierville, TN, where she grew up and lived for many years. For the past 54 years, she has resided in Mentor-on-the-Lake.

She attended Painesville United Methodist Church with her family and was a member of the AMVETS Post 109 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed music, bowling and spending time with her precious family.

Mrs. Henry was employed as a cashier and ran the photo lab at the former Medic Drug, later Walgreens Store in Mentor-on-the-Lake, where she worked for nearly 40 years.

Survivors are her daughter, Kathy (Phil) Snowbrick; grandchildren, Angel (Adam) Harvey and Phil Snowbrick; great-grandsons, Luke, William and Owen Harvey; sister, Marian Ownby Groover and brother, Kenneth Ownby. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Eddie Henry on December 25, 1993. Her parents, Marion Herbert and Dolly Angela (Valentine) Ownby and siblings, Johnny Carl (wife, Pauline), Conley and Mary Elizabeth are also deceased.

Her final resting place will be in Williams Cemetery in Jones Cove by New Salem Church in Sevierville, TN. A service will be held in Tennessee at a later date in 2023.
