Darlene L.. Whitford

Funeral services for Darlene L. Whitford, 61, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be at 12 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM- 12 PM on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Darlene passed away December 24, 2018 in Cleveland.

Born April 13, 1957 in Woodbury, New Jersey, she spent the last 43 years in Mentor-on-the-Lake.

Darlene worked at Swagelok for more than 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being with her dogs.

Survivors include her children, Sean, Dori, and Jennifer Whitford; grandchildren, Timothy and Nicholas Whitford and Alana and Mark Jefferson; parents, George Buby and Betty (Sullivan) Buby; siblings, Betty Ann Glasky, Margaret Buby, Bob Buby, David (Stephanie) Lee, and Jim Buby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Whitford in 1995 and her brother, John Buby in 2017.
Final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
