David E. Ceboll

Private family services have been held for David E. Ceboll, 76, of Willoughby.

Mr. Ceboll passed away Monday, October 21, 2024.

Born August 23, 1948 in Cleveland he was a longtime Lake County resident, having lived in Mentor, Willoughby and Willoughby Hills, returning to Willoughby in 2000.

He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War and attended Willoughby United

Methodist Church. He was a master gardener and enjoyed fellowship with his cigar group. He was also an avid football fan, especially of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Dave most especially enjoyed traveling and ocean cruises.

Mr. Ceboll was employed by the former Picker X-Ray and Marconi Medical companies, now known as Phillips Medical before his retirement. He retired after 42 years of service.

Survivors are his beloved wife of 50 years, Deborah (Meissner) Ceboll; daughter, Mary (Scott) Jennie and grandchildren, Jessica Lee Ceboll, David Jacob Ceboll, David Scott Ceboll, Jr. and Hal Jennie. He also leaves his daughter-in-law, Stacey Ceboll, many nieces, nephews, friends and their families.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Scott Ceboll in 2017. His parents, Elmer and Lillian (Hayden) Ceboll and sisters, Shirley and Mary, are also deceased.
