David R. Greene

Funeral services for David R. Greene, 92, of Mentor-On-The-Lake, will be at 11 AM on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Dave went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 4, 2025.

He was born April 29, 1932 in Cleveland.

Dave was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He worked at K & B Lincoln Mercury, later known as Northcoast Lincoln Mercury, for over 50 years. He was a longtime member of Grace Church of Mentor.

He was an avid guitar player and enjoyed singing. He enjoyed watching Cleveland sports teams, especially the Cleveland Cavaliers. He loved to spend time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Eva Irene (Miller) Greene; daughters, Teresa Neaves and Karen (James) Zuber; daughter-in-law, Pat Greene; grandchildren, Christen (Jason) Greene, David (Amber) Greene, Amanda (Corey) Kundert, and Kate (Nick) Mona; great-grandchildren, Meadow, Wyatt, Maggie, Teddy, Silas, June, and Sam; and sister, Kathy (Ralph) Hoskins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Squire Dewey and Lura Virginia (Oliver) Greene and his son, Larry Greene. His brother, Aubrey and sister, Frances are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
