Debbie K. Shirer

Memorial services for Debbie K. (Jarrett) Shirer, 69, of Painesville, will be at 11 AM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Mentor Baptist Church, 7500 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor. Pastor Brian Landrum will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, prior to the service at the Church.

Debbie passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 28, 2023.

Born July 15, 1953 in Dunbar, WV, she has lived in Lake County for the past 30 years.

She was a member of Mentor Baptist Church and her hobbies included baking and coloring pictures. Her most favorite pastime was taking care of her family.

Survivors are her sisters, Melanie (Ross) Johnson and Teena (T.J.) Wright; children, Pam Wilfong and Will Wilfong; grandchildren, Samantha Simmons, Danielle Gallagher, Brandon Wilfong, Nathan Wilfong and Destiny Wilfong and great-granddaughter, Ariella Simmons. She also leaves her step-sons, Jim and Jeff Shirer, many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Shirer and parents, Charles and Martha (O’Dell) Jarrett.
