Delores Jean Watts

Delores J. (nee: Laskowski) Watts, 81, of Pierpont, OH, was born in Painesville on May 29, 1942, she passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023 at Altercare of Mentor. She will be greatly missed.

She was a woman of strong faith, had a big heart, loved her fur babies and feeding the birds, especially humming birds. She had a sense of adventure and enjoyed watching scary movies. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh at herself by embracing her heritage and Polack jokes. She was down to earth and if she met you one time, called you her friend. She loved to sing and harmonize with her sisters. Her niece Connie and neighbor Eddie were instrumental in helping her remain independent in Pierpont until she became ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her father, Joseph J. Laskowski; grandparents, Joseph and Anna Laskowski; sister, Joann Allen of Pierpont; Brother-in-Law, Steve “Buggs” Hambor of Painesville and granddaughter, Skylar Barton.

Delores is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Rod) Henckel of Painesville; sons, Steve Barton of Madison and Ken (Kelly) Barton of Willoughby; John’s children, whom she loved very much, daughter, Angela (Ken) Notte of Thompson; sons, Dennis (Lori) Watts of Madison, Dave (Linda) Yankie of Geneva and Charles (Peggy) Watts of Madison; sisters, Shirley (Dutch) Hines of Palm Harbor FL and Ginny Hambor of Painesville and brother, Joe (Lana) Laskowski of Northfield; grandchildren, Angel (Keith) Ray, Ciara Barton and Logan Barton; great grandchildren, Kaden, Braylen, Kinsley, Delilah, Kyann and Roman; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be at Fairview Memorial Park, on River Street (State Route 528, one-half mile north of Interstate 90 at exit 212), Madison, OH, 44057 on Wednesday, August 23 at 11:00 AM.
