Denise E. Haines went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Heather Hill in Chardon. She was born February 4, 1943 in Cleveland, and moved to Lenox Township, as a young child.
Denise graduated from Jefferson High School in 1960. She recently celebrated her 61st wedding anniversary with her husband, Herb Haines. They raised five children together. She had a smile that would light up a room and make others feel valued. She counted her roles as a mother, mother-in law, and grandmother as the most important part of her life. Denise was always very involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives including volunteering in many ways at their schools in the Willoughby-Eastlake and Kirtland communities.
Denise loved her Savior Jesus Christ and was passionate about sharing His love with children of all ages through various church youth ministries. Despite her physical limitations, due to health issues in recent years, she continued to serve faithfully as a member of Kirtland Christian Fellowship in Kirtland.
She is survived by her loving husband, Herb Haines; daughter, Renee Haines (Jim Barnes); sons, Randal (Tamara), Ryan (Amy), Bryan and Shawn (Amanda); grandchildren, Jim (Bernadette) Barnes, Summer, Alexandria, Kaitlyn, Shawn, Jr. and Levi and great-grandchildren Joey and Adrianna.
