Graveside services for Dennis L. Adams, 71, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be 12:30 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Willoughby Memorial Gardens (Section A), 38660 Lakeshore Blvd., Willoughby. Please meet at the cemetery.
Current pandemic guidelines, including social distancing and the wearing of masks will be followed while visiting the cemetery.
Denny passed away December 12, 2020 in Mentor-on-the-Lake. Born February 11, 1949 in Painesville, he grew up in Kirtland and has spent the last 20 years in Mentor-on-the-Lake.
Denny was a sales manager at Precision Odor Inc.
He loved his country and was a proud U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a youth group leader at North Mentor Centenary United Methodist Church in Mentor for 9 years. Denny loved people and cared for everyone, stranger or not. His family was his most prized possession.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Debra S. (Wensyel) Adams; children, Kimberly (Dan) May, Stacey Rakes-Adams, Brooke Adams, Shawn (Monica) Rosa, Chad Todd, Richard Todd, Christina Todd, Nikol (Robert) Weber, and Michael Ballentine; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He also leaves behind 8 siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norma Gertrude (Kemp) Thompkins and Lawrence “Curly” Adams.
