Dolores Zeiler

Dolores A. (Felt) Zeiler, 92, went home to the Lord with dignity and grace on June 4, 2024. Born August 22, 1931 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, she moved to Mentor in 1951 where she resided the rest of her days.

She was a loving mother of 4 boys and once her children were in school, she worked at Citizens Bank in Painesville.

Dolores was a woman of strong faith and was an active member of Mentor Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching Sunday services online when she could no longer attend in person. She was a woman of integrity and compassion with a nurturing nature, but she also would tell it like it is. She was highly respected and loved by all who knew her.

Dolores enjoyed roller skating and flying with Chuck and golfing when he was working in Florida. Her favorite past time was spending time with friends and family. She spent a lot of time walking nearby beaches looking for sea glass, gardening and knitting. She was always a gracious host with a pot of soup on the stove or something in the oven ready for guests.

Survivors include her son, Scott (Pam) Zeiler; grandchildren, Ginger (Damian) Nero, Glenn (Shannon) Zeiler, Joy (Ben Allen) Zeiler Courtright, Ashley Zeiler, Alyssa (Grant) Zeiler, and Chaz Zeiler; 8 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind countless friends, new and lifelong.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Zeiler; sons, Charles (Violet) Zeiler, Glenn Zeiler, and Russell (Jan) Zeiler; siblings, Ralph, Elvira, and Agnes; and long- time companion, Bill Kleinsorge.

Memorial service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Mentor Baptist Church, 7500 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Mentor. Family will receive friends 10-11 AM Tuesday, prior to the service at the church.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Municipal Cemetery. Lunch will be served at the church following the interment.
