Dona Mae (Parketon) Sabin

Funeral services for Dona Mae (Parketon) Sabin, 91, of Concord Twp., will be at 3 PM Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Family will receive friends 11 AM- 3 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Dona passed away peacefully October 13, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born May 9, 1935 in Muskegon, Michigan.

Dona retired from Deepwood Center in 2006, after more than 20 years of service. She enjoyed reading, the beach, sunshine, margaritas, and slot machines. She loved being around people, laughing, and entertaining. Her opinionated manner was a force to be reckoned with, but she was loved by all.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Richard W. Sabin; children, Daniel (Donna) Good, Rhonda (Bolger) Good, Tammy “Jemi” (Gina) Averette Good, Michael (Kelly) Good, Angela Good, and Shawn (Tracy) Sabin; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Good and her granddaughter, Erica Bolger. Her parents, Sidney and Gladys (DeWitt) Parketon are also deceased.

Dona is loved and will be missed by many.
