Donna Lea Davis

Memorial services for Donna Lea (Hamilton) Davis, 80, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be at 10 AM Friday, June 15, 2018 at Saint Andrew Episcopal Church, 7989 Little Mountain Road, Kirtland Hills.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby, where Order of the Eastern Star services will be conducted by members and friends of Willoughby Chapter 202 on Thursday at 8 PM.

Mrs. Davis passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Medina Hospice Care Center in Medina Township.

Born April 18, 1938 in Canonsburg, PA, she had lived in Mentor-on-the-Lake for almost 40 years, before moving to the Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina in January, 2016.

She was an active member of Saint Andrew Episcopal Church and was initiated into Willoughby Chapter 202 Order of the Eastern Star on September 20, 1971, where she served as Worthy Matron in 1988 and as Chapter Treasurer for 17 years, being named as Treasurer Emeritus in 2014. She also served as the State of Ohio Deputy Grand Matron in 1998.

Mrs. Davis was employed at Chase Bank, retiring in 1998 after 35 years of service.

Survivors are her daughter, Debbie (Doug) Dittebrand, and sons, Brian (Liz) and Roger (Patti) Lago; 9 grandchildren and brother, James Hamilton; She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Lago and second husband, Richard J. Davis. Her parents, James and Irene Hamilton and five siblings are also deceased.
