Donna Douglas

Services for Donna M. (Miller) Douglas, 83, of Concord Twp., a homemaker, will be at 10 AM Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Mrs. Douglas passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Precious Care Assisted Living in Concord Twp. Born April 10, 1929 in Mentor, she was a lifelong Lake County resident. She loved walking, gardening and knitting, but most especially spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors are her children, Vickie (Dennis) Burlinski of Geneva, Cindy (Ron) Weaver of Hambden Twp., Susie (Phil) Vaughan and Rick (Darlene) Douglas, both of Concord Twp.; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and sister, Phyllis Urban of Painesville Twp. Her husband, Richard "Dick" Douglas passed away December 31, 1992. Her parents, Edwin and Gladys (Fenner) Miller, brother, Edwin Miller, Jr. and sister, Betty Lucas are also deceased. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Friday, September 28, 2012 at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Senior Independence Hospice, 38721 Mentor Avenue, Willoughby, OH 44094.
