Dorothy E. Korpi

Services for Dorothy E. (Klann) Korpi, 85, of Kirtland, will be at 11 AM on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Adam L. Sorenson of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Korpi passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Hospice House in Cleveland.

Born August 26, 1933 in Cleveland, she has lived in Willoughby and Kirtland since 1953.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willoughby and the former Kirtland Grange.

Mrs. Korpi worked alongside her husband, John at their company, Willoughby Concrete Builders Supply.

Survivors are her husband of 65 years, John; children, Kathy (Kevin) Rettger, Diane (Don) Misich and Dennis Korpi; grandchildren, Melissa (Rob) Wolff, Cheryl Rettger, Andrew Misich (fiancé, Elizabeth Seibolt), Katelyn Misich and Courtney Misich; great-grandchildren, Ava, Ryan and Alyssa; sisters, Ruth Yenc and Eleanor Weindorf and sister-in-law, Elaine Klann. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Klann and brother-in-law, Ed Korpi.

Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens following the service on Thursday.
