Douglas Darrell Groves

December 19, 1952 — January 3, 2018

Memorial services for Douglas D. Groves, 65, of Euclid, will be 7 PM Monday, January 8, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Family will receive friends 3-7 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Doug passed away peacefully at his home on January 3, 2018. He was born December 19, 1952 in Cleveland.

Doug was in the security system business for many years.

He loved drag racing and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Patty Groves; sons, Douglas (Georgette Harris) Groves and Keith Groves; grandson, Zack Groves. He also leaves behind many friends and family and fellow racers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Esther Groves; siblings, Lisa and Joe Potocar.
