Duane L. Merriman

Graveside services for Duane L. Merriman, 77, of Eastlake, will be at 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at All Souls Cemetery, 10366 Chardon Road, Chardon Township. Please meet at the main entrance and we will then process to the gravesite in Section 26-C.

Mr. Merriman passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

Born June 24, 1940 in Painesville, he was a lifelong Lake County resident, having lived in Eastlake for the past 52 years.

He was a United States Army veteran and enjoyed watching NASCAR races.

Mr. Merriman was employed at Phillips Medical for 50 years.

Survivors are his children, Dianna Bradberry, Leonard (Dee) Merriman and Michelle Merriman; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and his sister, Lee (Don) Koenig.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth and grandson, Duane (D.J.), both in 2012.

There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Lake Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Boulevard, Unit E, Mentor, OH 44060.

Note: due to road construction, you must enter the cemetery via the service entrance off of Kirtland-Chardon Road, turn right at the stop-sign within the cemetery, and travel under the bridge to the circle area at the main entrance where we will gather and then process to the gravesite together.
