Edna R. Fletcher

Memorial service for Edna R. Fletcher,93, of Mentor will be 7 PM Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fletcher passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 in Mentor.

She was born November 18, 1929, in London, Ontario, Canada.

Mrs. Fletcher was a homemaker, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2300 Auxiliary in Willoughby, and a longtime Red Coat volunteer at Playhouse Square. She also volunteered at Mentor Public Library, The Lake County Visitors Bureau and with the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program.

Survivors are her children, Marilyn (Dave) Neace, James G. Fletcher III, Robert (Mary Verdi-Fletcher) Fletcher, and Susan (Keith) Ingle and granddaughter, Gael Neace.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James G. Fletcher, Jr. on April 10, 2017. Her mother, Rose and sisters, Nellie, Lillian, Betty and Joyce are also deceased.
