Edward J. Evans

Private family services have been held for Edward J. Evans, Sr., 80, of Painesville Township.

Mr. Evans passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at his home.

Born January 11, 1942 in Cleveland, he has lived in Painesville Township for the past five years.

He was retired from the General Electric Corporation after 30 years of service, most recently at the Willoughby Quartz Plant.

Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Carol (Hudson) Evans; two great sons, Edward, Jr. (Dedra) and Tom (Candy); eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and his sister Arlean Hull of Eastlake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Isabelle (Anderson) Evans, formerly of Eastlake.
