Edward William Teske

Services for Edward W. Teske age 78 of Willoughby will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013 at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Rd. Mentor.
Mr. Teske went to be with The Lord July 2, 2013 at Hospice House in Cleveland. Born July 2, 1935 in Cleveland.
Mr. Teske was a teacher for 34 years at Baptist Christian School later renamed Orange Christian Academy. He also painted houses on the side. He was a Sunday School Teacher in several local churches for many years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching basketball. He was a Kent State graduate where he also played baseball. He loved being with his family, talking about the Lord and watching sports.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn “Joy” (nee Hartline) of 55 years; children Lisa (Mark) Roth of Strongsville, Todd (Lisa) Teske of Willoughby, and Ben (Julie) Teske of Medina; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister June Hauschildt of Pittsburgh, PA; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Lilybeth Teske of Bay Village

He was preceded in death by parents Fred and Elsie Teske; brothers Fred and Gary Teske.

Family will receive friends 9:00-11:00 a.m. Monday at the church.

Interment Willoughby Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Willoughby.
