Edward Thomas Weaver

A celebration of the life of Edward Thomas Weaver, 57, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be at 3 PM on Saturday, October 22. 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM on Saturday. Prior to the service.

Edward passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

Born October 23, 1964 in New Jersey, and raised in Carmichaels, PA. He has lived in Lake County since 1989.

He was an avid golfer and fisherman and spending all the time that he could with his daughters.

Edward was a master carpenter, having won many awards for his craftsmanship, and has been employed as a construction superintendent by Marous Brothers Construction for the past 22 years.

Survivors are his daughters, Shireen Weaver, Nicole Christensen and Sophia Christensen; mother, Patricia (nee: Czykray) (Donald) Tate; siblings, Judy (John) Phillips, Delbert Weaver, Andy (Ann) Howes; half-brothers, Charles (Heather) Minor, Gerald Minor and James Minor. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by father and step-mother, William and Geraldine Weaver and his companion, Christina Christensen.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the Lake-Geauga Recovery Center, 9083 Mentor Avenue, Mentor.
